Laura is attorney at law with wealth of experience in the fields of real estate, construction and M&A, solving of complex labour law issues, as well as preparing and advising on civil-law agreements on the choice of transaction structure.
Laura started her professional career in the legal field 20 years ago as an assistant legal adviser to the Chancery of the President of Latvia during the presidency of Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga, where Laura also participated in the legislative processes of that time. After working in one of Latvia’s leading law firms, where Laura obtained the status of a senior lawyer, she met the challenge to establish her own law firm, together with her colleagues, where she worked for more than 8 years.

In her free time, Laura loves music and movement – dancing is like meditation for her as it frees the mind from the flow of thoughts, while singing in a choir and with friends gives her joy and excitement. When singing in the big choir at the Song Festival, Laura has been caught in the special feeling when higher energies seem to be coming together. Another sources of pleasure is spending time in nature, where Laura enjoys the leisurely rhythm that only nature can offer.
